What our customers say…
Adult beginner lessons
Did you know one in five adults in the UK can’t swim? Well it is never too late to learn (our oldest pupil so far was 87 years old). Our friendly and welcoming classes are designed for all abilities, providing a supportive and encouraging environment for you to enjoy your time swimming with us.
What we teach
The classes are tailored to ensure adults can progress at their own pace. We start out by working on the basics and developing your core muscles as well as confidence in the water. Then the classes move onto perfecting your strokes, without adding too much distance to your training, so you can focus on your technique without getting tired by the length of the pool. Classes cover:
- Floating and treading water
- Basic stroke technique
- Building the confidence to submerge yourself under the surface
We give extra care to people that have had unfortunate experiences with water, so please do tell us if you have had negative experience or a particular concern.
Adult intermediate lessons
Our friendly and welcoming classes are designed for all abilities, providing a supportive and encouraging environment for you to develop your swimming.
What we teach
The classes are tailored to ensure adults can progress at their own pace. Classes focus on improving your stroke technique and your fitness as per your objectives. All of our lessons follow structured lesson plans to make sure that you progress.
Advanced Swimming Lessons
Triathlon & open water training
What we teach
With semi-competitive swimming becoming more and more popular, we offer various training to meet your needs. Our coaches are experienced in open-water as well as the swimming part of triathlon training.
Sessions include an introduction to squad guidelines, swimming etiquette and intermediate to advanced training sessions. The triathlon training incorporates core principles used in the squad training, as well as the latest triathlon training techniques.
