An awesome 2022 gala!

We ended last term with our annual gala, which was a great success! Swimmers of all ages took part, and it was AWESOME! The youngest competitior was the very adorable Charlotte, who is only 2 and a half! She won a gold medal in the Stage 1 front noodle race. Well done Charlotte!

We had a great turn out in our parents’ races. We loved seeing a healthy competitive spirit, and more than a few parents flew through the water – they could give our teachers a run for their money!

Undoubtedly, one of the best bits of the gala were our teachers’ races! The boys had been training all term and were ready to thrash it out in the water. Franck took the gold, but there were a few guys biting his ankles. Maybe next year they could catch up with him…

We had the super cool Rico, from ‘Rico Kids’ entertaining the children with his wonderful magic show. You can him creating bursts of laughter in our gala photos. We would highly recommend him! www.ricokids.co.uk

Thank you to all of the wonderful parent volunteers for all of your help and the yummy food. Everyone loved it all! We couldn’t have done it without all our amazing volunteers, teachers and swimmers!

A MASSIVE well done to all our amazing fishes who took part! It really was our best gala to date.
