A bit about me

I was born and raised in Bermuda so I was surrounded by water all my life. I started teaching when I was 17 and taught for 4 years before moving to the UK.

Inspiration

I love teaching all ages, and watching kids grow and fall in love with swimming, just as I did.

A bit about me

Swimming has long been a passion. It flamed up early in my life and has grown to a point where I want to share my experience and teach.

Inspiration

I love that I am able to share this passion for swimming with the pupils. It is one of the most rewarding feelings.

A bit about me

I’ve always had a passion for swimming and I am happiest in the water! I love helping my swimmers build their confidence, develop their technique and achieve something new.

Inspiration

I think the most rewarding part of being a swimming teacher is seeing my swimmers achieve something for the first time that they never thought they could do.

A bit about me

Having grown up in South Africa and Australia I was always in the water. It’s where I’m most at home. I now have 2 kids of my own and want to pass on my love of the water to them.

Inspiration

I wish I started teaching swimming a long time ago. I get such a kick from seeing people growing in confidence in the water. Watching scared adults realise they can actually swim is extremely rewarding.

A bit about me

I grew up in a family where swimming was part of who we are, having my dad been a professional swimmer in his youth, then a coach, and with other relatives taking the path of competitive swimming, like I did too. I had a lot of fun as a learner and remember how it was for me, so I try to bring a bit of that in the water when teaching. Of course water safety and learning the right skills to progress to any level desired are super important. Ultimately these things combined have the potential to make swimming a life long passion for the children, this is certainly my aim.

Inspiration

Everyday is different when teaching, on occasions can be challenging, but helping every swimmer become more confident and witness their progress in the water makes it always worth it.

A bit about me

I love taking brisk walks and travelling. Back in college, I was known as a fast swimmer. During a summer job as a beach lifeguard, I saved a few people and learned the importance of staying calm in water emergencies.

Oh, by the way, a fun fact about me - I have different colored eyes! Pretty cool, right?

Inspiration

I think everyone should feel confident in the water, no matter their skill level. I enjoy helping others build their swimming skills and confidence, creating a safe and relaxing environment for all.

Teacher:

A bit about me

I started swimming at the age of 3 and I still recall the love for the smell of chlorine on my first day. Since then I love the contact with water.

Inspiration

I love to teach mostly beginners: helping them to defeat fears and struggles. When finally someone can achieve something, I enjoy of their happiness. For me swimming
is freedom, an experience that allows people to feel the own body and trust in their own capacities. Swimming is a fundamental part of the growth of an individual.

A bit about me

Having grown up as a competitive swimmer I have developed a passion for the sport and lots of knowledge which I love to share in my lessons. Swimming has given me countless amazing opportunities, allowed me to meet so many people and try waterpolo which I competed in at university.

Inspiration

As a teacher, my main goal is to ensure that my swimmers are having fun and feeling confident in the water, so they can develop the same love for swimming that I have.

A bit about me

From a young age I have always been drawn to water. As a child I've enjoyed watching shows about mermaids and marine life. Overall I've just been fascinated by the sea and it's magical qualities.

Inspiration

I was inspired to start teaching as I grew up swimming competitively and always love to see the effort and dedication it takes to develop this skill.
