Child Protection Policy

Child protection policy

Cindy’s Swim School. (CSS) believes that the welfare of the child is paramount.

As CSS is a member of the ASA Swim School Scheme, we follow their Child Protection Policy Statement, which can be found on the below link:

The policy is to ensure that every child, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or disability, has the right to be free from abuse. This abuse covers all aspects be it neglectful, sexual, emotional or physical in nature.

CSS operates a no-bullying policy. This includes bullying by parents, teachers or other children. Amongst other things, the policy aims to ensure that unrealistic expectations are not placed on any child.

The aim of the swim school is to maximize the potential of all swimmers in accordance with their own wishes.

CSS have the following named Welfare Officers: Cindy Hartwell, Mark Britton.
