We run swimming lessons at pools in South London. In Herne Hill we offer lessons at the Heron Academy Swimming Pool <\/strong>to nursery, pre-school and primary school aged children learning to swim.<\/p>\n

We are lucky to have access to this pool, which is a perfect length and depth for kids, both those starting swimming lessons for the first time and those improving their skills.<\/p>\n

Compared to busy public pools, a smaller school pool like this one really helps a child’s concentration. With fewer distractions and either small group lessons (2:1 child-to-teacher ratio) or private 1:1 sessions, we find our pupils gain confidence, listen well and build trust with their teacher.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meet the swimming teachers<\/h3>\n

We have a rota of dedicated swimming teachers at our Streatham swimming pool who are all are either Swim England<\/a> or Swimming Teachers Association Level 2 qualified<\/a> or above (or hold equivalent certification).\u00a0 They all hold relevant first aid certification and all have up to date DBS certificates \u2013 to ensure the safety of your children.<\/p>\n

We encourage our pupils and parents to spend time with each other outside of lessons. There are a number of cafes and parks in the vicinity of all of our pools. So why not suggest to anyone else at the lesson to grab a coffee or visit the local playground.<\/div>\n
