We run lessons at pools in South West London. We have been lucky enough to work for several years now with our Wandsworth Swimming Pool, which is a private residential pool on Earlsfield Rd, SW18. <\/p>\n

This pool is situated in the garden of a pretty townhouse in Wandsworth. It’s very convenient for the local nurseries, and is the only pool in the immediate vicinity that opens its doors for lessons. The 10 x 3 metre pool is a beautiful, well-kept, intimate space, which, compared to busy public pools, really helps our pupils’ concentration. Babies and small children respond better in the quieter and smaller pools, and this also helps children to listen and learn from their teachers. We seen kids make huge leaps in their swimming skills and water confidence.<\/p>\n

Meet the swimming teachers<\/h3>\n

We have a rota of dedicated swimming teachers at our Wandsworth swimming pool who are all are either Swim England<\/a> or Swimming Teachers Association Level 2 qualified<\/a> or above (or hold equivalent certification).\u00a0 They all hold relevant first aid certification and all have up to date DBS certificates \u2013 to ensure the safety of your children.<\/p>\n

Earlsfield Rd pool is situated in the garden of a private house, so we send out details of the address and how to access the pool once you have a booked a lesson.<\/p>\n

There are changing facilities, either in the unisex toilet, in a small changing room, or by the pool itself.<\/p>\n

The garden and pool are closed to the general public, however please note all items are left at your own risk.<\/p>\n

Coming by car<\/h5>\n

Please don’t park on the driveway outside the house as this is private property. There is paid parking on the street. There is generally parking space available on Heathfield Road. If not, the surrounding streets also offer paid parking.<\/p>\n

But there is no parking available from 10:30am-11:30am. That time is only reserved for permit holders.<\/p>\n

Some suggestions for after your lesson<\/h2>\n

We encourage our pupils and parents to spend time with each other outside of lessons. There are a number of cafes and parks in the vicinity of all of our pools. So why not suggest to anyone else at the lesson to grab a coffee or visit the local playground.<\/p>\n

We are looking to build partnerships with local businesses to help benefit the school. Please do contact the office with any recommendations of places to go after class or services that might be useful to school members.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
